Dear customer,
In accordance with the settlement agreement, which was approved by the Israeli court in the framework of class action 24068-04-17, customers who meet the following criteria may be entitled to a refund of cancellation fees paid by them upon requesting to cancel their booking and refund their ticket:
- If you purchased in Israel an Austrian Airlines flight ticket (257) and the purchase was made between 1.4.2010 and 2.9.2022.
- If the ticket was purchased directly from Austrian Airlines, either via www.austrian.com or via the service center.
- If you submitted a written request to refund your ticket within 14 days after the transaction and no later than 7 business days before departure and have written proof of the request.
- If you were charged with a cancellation fee which is higher than 5% of the full ticket price or ILS100 (according to the lower).
If you meet all of the above-mentioned criteria, please send us the following details and documents in order to verify your eligibility for the refund:
- Passengers’ full name
- Your electronic ticket number (starting with 257)
- Written proof of your refund request as submitted to Austrian Airlines
- Contact details (email and phone number)
- We are collecting your data only for processing your refund request to fulfil our contractual obligations (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR) and will not use it for any other purpose. We will not forward your data to any unauthorized third party.
- If you choose not to share your data, we will not be able to check your eligibility for a refund.
