Doctors’ specialist fields are stored with Miles & More when they register so the flight attendants can call on them in a medical emergency. A consultation with different disciplines is possible if there is more than one doctor on board.
Doctor on Board courses
We are delighted to be able to offer our programme doctors a “Doctor on Board” course once more. Courses are held in Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin, and are run by Lufthansa Aviation Training.

Liability and insurance
The legal situation for the doctor treating a patient on board is covered: doctors on board are covered against any compensation claims by the passenger they treated under a liability policy taken out by Deutsche Lufthansa AG for such cases. Of course this does not cover malicious intent. This exclusion of liability applies to doctors and skilled lay assistants.

You can then register for our medical programme. Simply download the registration form and print it out.

Then upload the form to the Miles & More website together with a copy of your licence to practise medicine or your specialist qualification. Click on the Contact button, then the Contact form button and complete the form including the attachments.

Identification during flight bookings
Simply quote your Miles & More card number as usual during any future reservations. This will let us know that we can depend on your medical assistance on board.
