Whether you want to enjoy the view from a window seat, have the flexibility of an aisle seat or simply have your whole family together you can select your desired seats directly while booking your ticket.

Advanced seat reservation is available on all Austrian Airlines operated flights for passengers holding an Austrian Airlines flight ticket.
You can book your preferred seat at the same time as the ticket purchase up to a year before departure, or at a later date up to 48 hours before departure on www.austrian.com or by calling us directly.
In this case, please contact your travel agency or book your preferred seat through our Service Centre.

If all passengers are on the same booking, you can reserve your preferred seats (window, aisle or centre seat) for each passenger in a single process when you make the booking.
A group is more than nine passengers travelling on one booking. In this instance the reservation for a preferred seat for each person can be made.
Rebooking and cancellation
If your preferred seat category is not available because of a flight cancellation or an involuntary rebooking on a new flight, Austrian will of course refund the amount paid. Please complete the “Seat reservation – refund” form.
In the event of a voluntary cancellation, rebooking or upgrade, the amount paid for your seat reservation will not be refunded.
