City check-in Vienna

Due to the temporary interruption of the City Airport Train operation since 19 March 2020, use of the city check-in is not possible until further notice.

Thank you for your understanding.

If you have a ticket for the City Airport Train (CAT), as an Austrian Airlines passenger you can check in directly at the CAT City Terminal at Wien Mitte and also check in your bags for the flight.

    Terminal services

Uniquely in Europe, the Austrian Airlines City Terminal has the functions of an airport terminal – in the middle of the city. The service can only be used in connection with a CAT ticket.

    Self-service kiosks

Check yourself in and print your boarding pass and luggage tag right away. This way you avoid waiting times at the check-in counter and save valuable time.

    Baggage drop-off

Check your bags in yourself at one of the machines. Please note that large bags must be checked in at the airport.

    Check-in the previous day

You can drop off and check in your bags the day before from 24 hours before your departure. Enjoy a convenient journey to the airport.

    Check-in and ticket counters

If your travel plans change, you can rebook, add extra services and buy tickets at the Austrian Airlines ticket counter.

    Self-service check-in

For selected airlines (including Austrian, Lufthansa, SWISS, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings) you can now check in and check your bags yourself. Then place your suitcase on the conveyor belt at the baggage desk. Your bags are transported automatically once you have scanned the code on your luggage tag.
