Temporary suspension of rail operations

Due to the persistently low number of passengers at Vienna Airport due to the Covid-19 crisis, the operation of the City Airport Train has been temporarily suspended. You cannot use the City Check-in until further notice. Tickets purchased retain their validity and can be redeemed once operations are resumed.

Use the non-stop connection to the centre of Vienna. To make your journey even more convenient, the City Airport Train (CAT) runs every 30 minutes throughout the day. ​​Wien Mitte station provides a direct connection to underground lines U3 and U4, local rail (S-Bahn), and buses and trams.
