Complete reservation
A surcharge is applied per passenger for the reservation, which you can pay by credit card. After payment, you will receive an email confirmation.
48 hours to think it over
Your flights are now reserved at the guaranteed price. You can take your time to resolve outstanding issues or consult with travel companions.
Complete booking
You can find your reserved flights at the guaranteed price via the reservation confirmation in your inbox or via Manage my booking. Complete your booking here.
Terms and conditions
Reservations with price guarantee are only available for flights operated by the following Lufthansa Group airlines: Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines.
Please note that this only applies to private individuals, as a complete, tax-deductible receipt is not generated and so an input tax deduction cannot be claimed.
The surcharge for reservation with price guarantee starts at 7 EUR per person and varies based on availability, destination, and how much time is left before departure. The final price will be shown during the booking process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Right after your reservation is confirmed, an email with all necessary information and a link to complete your booking at a later time will be sent to you. You may also choose to continue and complete your booking anytime via the Manage my booking section.

Unfortunately, changes to a reservation with price guarantee are not possible during the 48-hour validity period. However, you may make a new reservation at any time.
If you choose not to use your reservation with price guarantee, it will automatically expire after 48 hours. There is nothing you need to do.
You can add services like seat selection, baggage, or travel insurance once you’ve finalized your flight booking. These extras aren’t available during the reservation period with a price guarantee.
At present, you can only book one flight journey per transaction (one-way or round-trip). If you want to book multiple flights, you can make multiple separate reservations, all with a guaranteed price.
You can confirm your reservation with the price guarantee anytime within the 48-hour period. Use the link in your confirmation email or go to Manage my booking.
Unfortunately, extending the reservation period is not possible. After the 48-hour window expires, the reservation will be automatically cancelled. However, you may create a new reservation at any time.
