United Arab Emirates

Plan a wonderfully unique and entertaining vacation when you fly with Austrian Airlines to UNITED ARAB EMIRATES and visit the city of Dubai, with its brilliant city views of skyscrapers contrasted with its majestic mountain scenes. The United Arab Emirates also includes Abu Dhabi, one of the most modern cities of the Emirates. Abu Dhabi boasts a thriving financial district, elegant architecture, and tourist-loving gardens, parks, hotels and shopping malls. If you want a little bit of culture while visiting the United Arab Emirates, visit the city of Sharjah, a cultural hub teeming with universities, ancient traditions, and museums filled with artifacts and interesting science and natural history exhibits. Sharjah is also a lively global trade center with one of the most important trading ports on the Arabian Gulf. Speaking of the Gulf, Sharjah also has beautiful pristine, sandy beaches for your full enjoyment.

Palm hotel
The new One & Only The Palm treats its guests with style. The exclusive project was made a reality on the outer ring of the incredible, artificially created island The Palm Jumeirah and it offers just what Dubai-fans expect: a fantastic view on the sea and Dubai's skyline, a 450-meter-long, white sand beach with crystal clear water and an elegant restaurant.   The boutique hotel is kept in a Moorish-Andalusia style and impresses with idyllic gardens, elegant fountains and a 850 m2 large pool. The 91 rooms and suites are allocated in a three-storied Manor House and six free-standing Palm Beach Mansions. Special highlights are the four private Beach Mansions. The 2,400 m2 large spa offers nine private en suite spa-rooms and a care-suite for couples. Never let it be said that luxury is purely built on sand. Rooms starting from 350 Euros.

Boulevard Dubai
The Towers Boulevard doesn't range among the biggest shopping malls in the city. It's rather addressed to those with the really big wallets. But also those who don't possess the really big bank notes should come by once.   The glass and steel architecture forms two uniform triangle structures, the 350-metre tall office tower and a 305-metre tall hotel complex. The connection of the two colossi is the 13,050-square-metre big boulevard.   On the shopping area international luxury brans offer their latest collections from Milan, Paris and New York. On the main floor you find fashion by Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent and leather accessories by Bottega Veneta. In the upper spheres Prada, Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney await their customers. After business hours the fun is not over yet. Then the credit cards keep on burning at the cash points of the restaurants and bars.

Meydan City
Last year the highest prize money in horseracing history was advertised in Meydan City. The sheikh from Dubai invests quite some money in his hobby because Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum loves horses. And that doesn't go without notice in the Meydan Resort. Looking at the huge monument one's jaw drops: the construction of the racecourse itself has already cost up to two billion dollars.   The 285 exquisite hotel rooms are located under a roof in the shape of a halfmoon. Names like Presidential Suite or Grand Deluxe Balcony leave no doubts that we play in a different league here. 370 square metres with 2 bedrooms and unlimited view on the apple green race course - from the bathtub. Additional features: dark wood floor and white leather sofas. And all this for two adults and two children. Pure luxury for an exclusive, extraordinary weekend experience.

China Sea
Luxurious and expensive = magical evening. This formula could easily be valid for Dubai. But even in the desert city one can learn to save. The China Sea is a paragon for a new restaurant generation - good, low-priced, friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere.   The fun factor at the China Sea is high. Watching the open kitchen and cooking stations is wished-for and in case you dare to do so you may warble some songs in the karaoke room on the upper floor after a successful dinner. The staff and the cuisine are both Chinese, which will cause us to throw away our European Chinese restaurant experience. The selection of excellently steamed balls (Dim Sum) is large and already worth the visit. Also, classics such as Peking duck are delicious.   Those among you who are happy to try out new things may simply point at some ingredients and the cooks will make a fascinatingly exotic dish out of them.
