If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, fly with Austrian Airlines to Pristina and sip coffee all day in one of the abundant cafe's. It is the Capital of Kosovo and its largest city. The main language heard spoken in Pristina is Albanian, but you can hear English spoken in the city centre, where there is predominately people working for international companies. Places to see include the Gracanica Monastery, the Jashar Pasha Mosque and the Clock Tower, to name just a few. The National library is worth a look, if not just for its unique appearance. Pristina has also adopted the euro currency, making it easier for those traveling from or around Europe. Shopping is also a must if you enjoy bargain hunting.
