Transfer of data to foreign authorities

Please note: Like all other airlines we are legally obliged to pass on our passengers' personal details from our reservations system to some foreign authorities.

Data Capture for Foreign Authorities

Some countries legally or officially require airlines to pass on passengers' personal data from their reservations systems to the responsible government authority. These states are listed below.

Canada

Data capture for Canada

We pass on the following data to the Canadian authorities in connection with your flight booking to/from or via Canada:

  • PNR (Passenger Name Record)
  • Date of reservation/ issue of ticket
  • Date(s) of intended travel
  • Name(s)
  • Frequent traveller information
  • Other names in reservation, including number of travelers
  • All available contact information (including originator information)
  • All available payment/ billing information (except payment information not connected to reservation)
  • Travel itinerary
  • Travel agency/ Tour operator
  • Code share information
  • Split PNR information
  • Travel status of passenger (including confirmation and check-in status)
  • Ticketing information, including ticket number, one way tickets and Automated Ticket Fare Quote 
  • Baggage information 
  • Seat information, including seat number 
  • General remarks including Other Supplementary Information (OSI), Special Service Information (SSI) and Special Service Request (SSR) information 
  • Advance Passenger Processing (APP) or Advance Passenger Information (API) data
  • All changes to the PNR listed in numbers 1 to 18

    We supply this data on the basis of an agreement between the EU and the Canadian government.

USA

Data capture for USA

We pass on the following data to the US authorities in connection with your flight booking to/from or via the USA:

  • PNR (Passenger Name Record)
  • Date of reservation/ issue of ticket Date(s) of intended travel Name(s)
  • Frequent traveller information
  • Other names in reservation, including number of travelers
  • All available contact information (including originator information)
  • All available payment/ billing information (except payment information not connected to reservation)
  • Travel itinerary Travel agency/ Tour operator
  • Code share information
  • Split PNR information
