Infants (defined as being between 0 and 2 years of age) pay 10% of the applicable price. Other percentage rates may be applied to special offers.

Are there special prices for children (between 2 and 12 years of age)?

At what age are mothers allowed to fly with a newborn baby?

With healthy newborn babies it is possible to fly only a few days after birth. However, the mother is advised to consult with treating doctor regarding increased thromboses risk after birth.

How can I comfortably travel with my baby?

We recommend a "baby-basket" for longhaul flights. A "baby-basket" is a baby bed provided on longhaul flights. It should be reserved at booking as there are only a few special seats available per flight.
Costs for a "baby-basket": The "baby-basket" itself is free of charge but the service is only possible together with a seat
reservation on a bulk head seat which is subject to a seat reservation fee.

From what age may children travel unaccompanied?

Children between the ages of 2 and 5 years may only fly when accompanied by an adult. Children between 5 and 12 years old may also fly alone. More information
