Fly from Linz to Vienna with Austrian every 3 hours
From 1 April 2012 onwards, Austrian Airlines will be launching an extra service from Linz to Vienna. The company’s new morning flight, OS 954, will take off from Linz at 11.35 in the morning and land in Vienna at 12.20 in the afternoon. This will mean Austrian now connects the national capital and the regional capital of Upper Austria anything up to five times a day, and passengers will be able to transfer from Linz onto even more flights in Austrian’s global route network. Passengers will also benefit from shorter transfer times onto Austrian’s long-haul destinations such as New York, Washington, Toronto and Tokyo.

With two evening flights, the new Austrian schedule even lets you use connections at both ends of the day to major centres such as London, Paris, Berlin and Warsaw. It also gives you the best connections to Eastern Europe, and major centres such as Moscow, Lvov, Krakow, Timisoara and Tirana.
Our new partner on the Linz–Vienna route is renowned Tyrolean aviation group Welcome Air. The group will be travelling between the two cities up to five times a day using a Dornier 328 Turboprop. Austrian Airlines will also continue to operate a service six times a week using a Dash 8-400. All the flights will operate under an OS flight number, and passengers will be able to continue earning Miles & More status and bonus miles as before.
